Gosh, all I can see when I look at this photo is nostrils. I hate photos of me, but here is one at the beach. At least I was having a good time and enjoying the sun!

Been to the condo.....sigh...week at the beach

This is Marine Terrace. Each year we stay on the fourth floor facing the water for one week. This year it was just hubby and me, and we only had one rainy day. Even that was fun to stay inside and watch a storm move through and out over the ocean.

It is located on A1A in Ormond Beach, and we have gone there for 25 years now. This past week went by so fast!

Just a little rain over two days

Well, our rain gauge measured over 8 inches of rain from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday evening. This little creek that runs near our house and had been almost completely dry. It was running noisy last night when hubby snapped this. No more drought here!

My other bargain from Ebay. It smelled of something from my childhood, and I cannot quite put my finger on it, but it is a farm smell.....not stinky though!

Interesting basket.....

I got this on ebay for 9.95 plus shipping!!!! I have found that collectibles are kind of just sitting on ebay, as the economy does not allow for much extra spending these days. I think this basket a year ago would have been highly bid upon, and I was the only bidder. I got another one for the same price, and it is really old....one came from here in Florida and the other one from Kansas. Well, it is not in Kansas anymore! :) I love the unusual shape of this one. I now have my wooden fruit in it.

Spring is definitely here. This town is overflowing with blooms. We have had fair days, with lots of sun and breeze. I try to relish each moment.
