Recital Time

Here is Abigail on recital day. She had a tap dance and a ballet dance, got two bouquets of flowers, and ate cookies afterward, so it was all good. As any grandmother will be heard saying, "I can't believe what a young girl she is becoming, growing up so fast!"

I do not believe she wants to return to classes next year, and she will be going to school all day, so this was probably her grand finale.

Josiah gets to sit in big sister's lap!

He is growing, and is just the best baby! But I keep thinking, what is it going to be like with a little boy running around? Those days are just around the corner. Last week, we had the girls for two nights (Tuesday and Wednesday) and almost two days. Julia and Josiah came over for dinner both nights. I slept very well on Thursday night.

Room with a view - from the balcony

Looking down......"our table" is behind one of the palms. Hubby gets up verrrry early in the morning, to watch the sunrise, and also get a table for us to use for the day. It is quite competitive!

We even take a quilt to the beach place.....

Here is hubby relaxing in the living room. To the left is the dining table, and I wish the view from the windows showed up. It is so beautiful!

Hmm.....who is that old lady in the hat?

Gosh, all I can see when I look at this photo is nostrils. I hate photos of me, but here is one at the beach. At least I was having a good time and enjoying the sun!

Been to the condo.....sigh...week at the beach

This is Marine Terrace. Each year we stay on the fourth floor facing the water for one week. This year it was just hubby and me, and we only had one rainy day. Even that was fun to stay inside and watch a storm move through and out over the ocean.
It is located on A1A in Ormond Beach, and we have gone there for 25 years now. This past week went by so fast!

Just a little rain over two days

Well, our rain gauge measured over 8 inches of rain from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday evening. This little creek that runs near our house and had been almost completely dry. It was running noisy last night when hubby snapped this. No more drought here!
