For each grandchild, I make a crib quilt. I do it because it is fun and I still have the twin quilt my granmother made for me and I love it.This is my third quilt, and has lots of fun animals on it for the little guy to look at when he gets old enough. He is five weeks old right now.
I love to do crib quilts....you can sit them on your lap, and work. I still have a lot of hand-quilting to do on this one, and I need to step it up!
All the quilts I make are hand sewn, as that is my favorite way to sew.
Josiah was a godly king from the Old Testament. He was one of the few kings that tried to have a close relationship with his lord, and to do away with the worship of pagan gods in his lands. You can read about Josiah in 2 Kings 22. He was only eight years old when he became a king!

Jeannie,
That is so cute!! Now he needs a sock monkey to go with it. How nice that you have made a quilt for each of them.
