Sharing Antique Rocker photos

On the MaryJanesFarm site, sweet Nancy Jo shared a photo of a rocker she got at the thrift. So I was moved to show my own little sewing rocker. It comes out of an historic house here in Tallahassee, and is Eastlake in design, probably from about 1910-1920.
I won it at a silent auction at our church/school, and had it recaned. I sit in it every day. The pillow came from the famous Miss Wilma, and I just love it too!

Jeannie,
How cute!! And I know all about Miss Wilma's pillows they are wonderful.
I wonder why they call them sewing rockers?
