So this is how our seasons here go - one day a fire at night, the next day a dragonfly of beautiful color in the garden. And yes, we do still have peppers and cucumbers and 2 tomato plants in the ground and growing.
That is the world of north Florida.
Hubby took this photo. I had never seen a purple dragonfly before. Usually they are shimmery like a rainbow.

How pretty! Lucky you to still have tomatoes and cucumbers. Everything is going to sleep here in WA. The trees have been so pretty this past couple of weeks but they are beginning to drop their leaves. I love Fall so much and hate to see it winding down already. Enjoy your beautiful FL Fall weather!

I don't think we have any bugs here that color, unless they got into the grape juice.
Yes I use my big oil lamps when the power goes out, they come in real handy.
Haveing a bright sunny mild day here today, but times will be changing soon.
