I have had these so long. They have been doorstops, too. On the back they say Angelus Call to Prayer 1928. They are wrought iron coated in bronze, I think. I love the way they look so Arts & Crafts period. I just had a thought. If our house ever burned down or got blown away from a hurricane, I would have a pretty good inventory of my stuff on my blog! :)

I wish I could remember! I have another pair that my mom gave me, very similar, but not as old. I used to love to hunt for treasures when I was single long ago, and went to many estate sales, etc. I had to have found them at one of those, or an auction. Usually I can remember exactly where I got everything and how much I paid!
Those are really wonderful. They make nice art pieces on their own. Happy Mother's Day!
