Wild violets are everywhere.....

We have picked enough to make jelly.....way more than you see here.......but we have not had the time to do it!  So we just put them in water and enjoy their beauty.  Oldest granddaughter has found the mother lode on the path beyond the house.  I do not know why, but I like this photo.

Yum! I finally had enough violets to make jelly this year! It is such a pretty color! I used Aunt Jenny's recipe, that I have had waiting for the past couple of years.

I love violets, we had so many on the farm where I grew up, I miss them.
Cute cute picture of the baby a few posts down, boy they sure do grow fast.
